Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026Tallyboo is the internal publishing and product-management application used to run Tallyboo Press. It is operated by its owner and is not a consumer service — there are no public accounts and no sign-ups. This policy explains what information Tallyboo accesses when its owner connects a third-party platform such as Pinterest or Etsy, and how that information is used and stored.
Information we access
Tallyboo does not collect information from visitors to this website. The information it handles comes from third-party platforms that the owner has explicitly authorized, through those platforms’ official APIs.
When a Pinterest account is connected, this may include the authenticated account’s profile and account information, Pins, boards, and the analytics or performance information Pinterest makes available through its API.
When an Etsy shop is connected, this may include shop information, listings, orders and transactions, reviews, and other information made available through the Etsy API under the scopes granted at authorization.
Each integration requests only the permissions it needs to operate. If the permissions an integration needs change, the platform requires the owner to authorize it again.
How we use information
Information from connected accounts is used to operate the integrations the owner has authorized: managing products and listings, publishing and updating content, and producing internal reporting and performance analysis for Tallyboo Press.
Tallyboo is an internal tool. Information from connected accounts is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running the business.
Third-party integrations
Integrations are connected using each platform’s official OAuth flow. Tallyboo never asks for or stores a platform password.
Connected platforms remain governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service. Information that stays on Pinterest or Etsy is handled by those companies under their own policies, not this one.
Data storage and security
Tallyboo may store a synchronized copy of information retrieved through an authorized integration, so it can provide product management, publishing, reporting and analytics without repeatedly retrieving the same information from the platform.
OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored server-side, for as long as necessary to maintain the authorized connection. API credentials, OAuth tokens and application secrets are not intentionally exposed publicly or made available to browser or client-side code.
Reasonable technical safeguards are used to protect stored integration information, including access controls on the application and its database. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and no guarantee of absolute security is made.
Data sharing
Tallyboo does not sell personal information.
Tallyboo does not give third parties access to connected accounts, except as necessary to operate an authorized integration or the infrastructure the application runs on — for example, the platform APIs themselves and the hosting and database providers that run the application and store its data.
Your choices
Because Tallyboo is used only by its owner, the choices below belong to the person who authorized each integration.
An integration can be revoked at any time from the connected platform’s own account settings — Pinterest and Etsy each allow a connected application’s access to be removed — and, where Tallyboo supports it, by disconnecting the integration inside the application. Revoking access stops Tallyboo from retrieving further information from that account.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Tallyboo’s integrations change. When it is, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change with it, and the current version will always be available at this address.
